Financial literacy – the ability to understand financial management, budgeting and investing – is an important skill that every Canadian needs. Despite being a topic of discussion for several years now, there still remains work to be done. One of the priorities of the Actuarial Foundation of Canada (AFC) is to help improve financial literacy in younger Canadians. In this episode, FCIA Lilach Frenkel discusses the AFC’s initiatives in this area and how actuaries can contribute to this effort. (In English)
